Great sites to visit

Postby Cpt. Blackbeard » 10 Dec 2014, 02:54

Hello, I am wondering where do you like to go when you are online? Sites like Amazon and EBay are known to all, I'm interested in the hidden jewels of the online world where you can get a great deal on hardware, or read well written articles, or just get a chuckle when you need one.
For instance, if you like hiking but aren't really into steep grades there is http://www.traillink.com where you can get information on former railroads turned into hiking trails.
Another site is geocaching.com, it's like a treasure hunt you do with a GPSr, a great excuse to get out and be active. So what are your favorite sites?

I subscribe to a lot of blog websites (listed below). I also started listening to podcasts recently.

Onextrapixel - http://www.onextrapixel.com/
Web Design Ledger - http://webdesignledger.com/
Web Designer Depot - http://www.webdesignerdepot.com/
Dzine Blog - http://dzineblog.com/
Codrops - http://tympanus.net/codrops/

Podcast: BizCraft - http://unmatchedstyle.com/bizcraft

When I'm looking for inspiration, I look no further than Dribbble (https://dribbble.com/). There is so much amazing work here that I can get inspired easily.

I also get all of my wallpapers from this blog: Awesome Wallpapers (http://awesomewallpapersblog.com/)
