Favourite forum (That you work on as a Staff)

Postby Simba » 07 Jul 2011, 14:54

Hi, this topic is based on the best website topic by Shovenose but because his rules state for a forum you can't use one you work on as a Moderator or Staff,

So basically the only rule is that you must not be the admin of your favourite forum (That you are a Staff member on).

I am soon going to be a global moderator on my favourite forum. But I am already a staff member on it so I can post it:

I would not accept that because it is still your account....
You approved yourself....... (I mean forums you have Bern approved as an official staff member on)

Is the test account Microsuck???

No, that's actually somebody else.
I've removed mod priviliges from my other account meanwhile. It's really my mom's account (g.staake) but she never uses it!

Mine would probably have to be http://support.freeforums.org
I am not staff, yet, but I'm trying really hard. I have helped quite a lot of people and now I am just waiting for a reply when I send in my application (It takes around 1-2 weeks for a reply).

FreeForums.org: They are a waste of time trying to become a Support Staff.
They did not hire me even though I have helped allot of people..

And they did not even reply to my application email

Hello,

Coasterfreck, It does take some time to become Support Staff on FF.org's support forum.
Just because they won't hire you does not mean it is a waste of time for others to try.
I am using the username 'TylerW', by the way, and I enjoy helping others eventhough I am not support staff.
Also maybe they didn't hire you because they just hired 2 new Support Staffers in January (Not sure though).
I am still going to keep trying, even it if takes me a little while.

They get many aplications for support staff.
(it is a forum that requires you to no allot about phpBB knowledge)
That is why I recommend that you do not get your hopes up,
I am also a friend of one of the support staff.
(And I know how hard it is to get that job)

Thanks Coasterfreck :D

I'd have to say I worked on www.advertisehotspot.info as a packager for a while and I really enjoyed it, but it was very time consuming so I had to give it up.

Lol. The old one was a little bland but at least it was nice.
The new one, it seems people either Love it or Hate it!
