Linux Mint is pretty nice if your looking for a install and go distro. That's why I think it appeals to a lot of people, including some small business owners. If Im remembering correctly, Craig over at bitcove is quite fond of Linux Mint.

Give it a try. It's currently my favorite ubuntu spin. It has some handy tools pre-installed as well.

I dislike lubuntu. It's mostly because lxde frustrates me in it's lack of ability to be laptop friendly >< ( Can never get tap to disable on Lxde based distro's ).

I never had that problem before. So, I can't really offer support. Did you write to the cd/usb correctly that you are using or are you using a virtual machine?

Whatever. I'll keep it out of Round 1, and I'll include it in Round 2. Maybe it just doesn't like my computer.
