Re: Updates won't install on this computer (Win XP 32bit)

Dial-A-Fix will probably fix it. It has a function to delete all of the windows update files and repair Windows update. XP Only.

Microsoft publishes minimum requirements. It's 1GB, although you CAN install it on a system with less.

Re: Graphics cards problem

Most likely you need to set the graphics option in the BIOS from onboard to pci express. Enter the bios setup when you start the computer and look for an option like that, probably in a section called integrated devices.

Re: Evo 3D Phone

I can't stand the 3D fad. I wish it would hurry up and pass....until it's tried again in another five years. The EVO is an awesome phone, though, so I'm sure this will be a nice upgrade...but the 3D portion of it just strikes me as stupid.

I use Pidgin for work, but I like Trillian better. Digsby is also kind of nice, but I forget why I didn't use it.

Re: KisMAC

KisMAC is a port of KisMET (A tool that is used to check for security flaws in Wifi networks.) It's pretty much useless against a well secured network, in terms of a cracking tool. It is able to easily crack WEP passwords, and can potentially bruteforce WPA passwords. It also does things like reveal...

Re: Best antivirus

No doubt it's good. I'm not disagreeing with you at all about that... I just see SO many people thinking that it's a full antivirus...and it simply isn't. I know of one person that uninstalls ANY antivirus and installs Malwarebytes...and claims that it's better security. When you compared it to Nort...

Re: Best antivirus

It's not an antivirus. Malwarebytes says so in their forums, fairly often. http://www.articlesbase.com/software-articles/is-malwarebytes-an-antivirus-program-992141.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; or direct from their forums http://forums.malwarebytes.org/index.php?showtopic=8068...

How to prevent a virus infection.

I just added a new post on my company's blog that may be of interest to some people. It's just a quick run down of a few things you can do to keep from getting infected. I decided to write it after a customer had his computer in for the third time in five days, with the same virus each time. http://...

Re: Unlocking a T-mobile G1

I'm a big fan of HTC android phones. I think Sense UI makes them really shine. So, the Aria looks like a nice phone. It looks like it's one of their last generation phones, because all of the new ones have more screen space and no trackpad thing at the bottom...but really, Android phones in general ...

Google Chrome cb_render.php download

Since the theme change, I had an annoying problem where Chrome would download a file called "cb_render.php" every time I changed pages on the forum. I did a quick search and didn't find anything really helpful about it. I wasn't sure if it was something in the new theme causing the downloa...

I don't like google chrome I just don't like the look of it. I felt the same way when I started using it. I hated it when it first came out, wouldn't touch it with a ten foot pole. Then firefox starting acting up and running REALLY slow on my computers. I tried many many things to fix it, some work...

Mike Tyson's Punch Out. I will never forget the Mike Tyson code. 007-373-5963. The Legend of Zelda. Hands down one of the best games ever made. I've played it through a ton of times. Chrono Trigger. I didn't own an SNES, but I was told that I had to play Chrono Trigger. Great game. Tekken 3. I got k...
